There are two major types of drugs: uppers and downers. Uppers will make your heart beat faster and puts you in a state where the whole world around you seems to spin faster. You are like in a roller coaster ride. Downers on the other hand slows down your world. You think, act and talk slow. The world around you moves slow. Both type of drugs and their effects can strip you away of your driving control while you are on the road and become the cause of serious road accidents. The effects of drugs are on stimulus control of behavior, some give you color vision defects, the most common adverse side-effects reported are sleepiness and being stoned (staring into nothingness without no reaction to the surroundings). All these may drive you towards your deathbed.
High on the Highway, Solve by the Solvent! If these is your slogan, then you are definitely chasing death. Doing drugs alone is not good, what more doing drugs then driving! It is like paying for your own death. So you think getting high is good? It doesn't even last that long, you are just spending too much on a temporary escape from reality which sooner or later you cannot afford once you become an addict. The faster you become a drug addict, the faster you become unstable. Such immense well-being is unsustainable because its mechanisms don't subvert the systems of homeostatic feedback inhibition of the brain.
Whatever the variable of dui is, it is not good. Being addictive to those substances alone rips apart not just your life but your relationships as well. Think about it. So live a clean life and do not give the world an excuse that you are not driving after a hit anyway!
